The 6th Day of the Week, known by the pagan name Freya or Friday

Posted on September 21, 2018 by truthseeker

“Friday is associated with Freya, the wife of Woden and the Norse goddess of love, marriage and fertility, who is equivalent to Venus, the Roman goddess of love.” – Ancient Origins

Father Yah, our Creator simply called the day the 6th Day of the 7 day weekly cycle. It is the last work day of the week, with Sabbath, the 7th Day immediately following it. But the enemy of the Creator, a created being, Satan, inspired men to refer to the 6th Day by a pagan name, thus devoting the day to the pagan deity Freya. These pagan, false mighty ones have varying, often similar names in different cultures, but the main thing is that they all are in opposition, and are supplanted as replacements of the very Truth established by our Creator. It is the created rebelling against the Creator.

Now, I know that most, probably, aren’t aware that they’re using the names of pagan, false mighty ones when the refer to the days of the week. Some do, and do it anyway, believing that the Creator doesn’t care. But as we’ve looked at previously, the Instruction that He gives us, in His Commandments, tell us quite the opposite. He said don’t do it!

Exo 23:12 “Six days you are to do your work, and on the seventh day you rest, in order that your ox and your donkey might rest, and the son of your female servant and the sojourner be refreshed.
Exo 23:13 “And in all that I have said to you take heed. And make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, let it not be heard from your mouth.” -ISR

Again, as I pointed out before, this command to not even mention the names of the false, foreign, pagan mighty ones, is in direct connection, in the context of the Commandment, to the weekly cycle of six days of work and the seventh, the Sabbath of rest. Now you know how Yah feels about it. You have a choice to make. Will you be influenced by tradition, and by rebellious Satan, and ignore the Command of Creator Yah, or will you die to yourself and allow Him to change you to love His Truth and to walk obediently, by grace through belief.
