I took a break from the Torah Perspective blog, to get perspective. I took down all the posts from all the way back to the beginning, in 2005. Many of those old blog posts no longer represent who I am now, or what I have come to know. This is a reboot.
If this is your first encounter with me, or this blog, allow me to tell you a little more about me.
My name is Banner Kidd. I was born again November 23rd, 1987. I began to see the relevance, and Truth of Torah around the 2000. I, along with my family, began observing the 7th Day Sabbath in 2003. The fellowship I attend, where I serve as an elder and a part of the worship team, began to meet on the 7th Day Sabbath in 2007.
Since we began to guard the Sabbath, and as we have yielded to the work of the Set Apart Spirit, we have been in constant change. This blog is simply a place to present Scriptural Truth in a way to cause the reader to think, and consider the way they are walking. That is what I’m doing. It is not an easy path, because our flesh doesn’t want to submit. But it is the path of peace with Yahweh Elohim, through His Son Yahshua Messiah, by the power of the Set Apart Spirit.
You have probably noticed that I use the Hebrew names of the One that traditionalism calls “God” and “Jesus.” Our English translations, for the most part, have not been faithful in using the True Names of our Creator. But they have been pretty successful in hiding His Name. Given that His Name is mentioned around 7000 times in Scripture, and the importance of His Name being the only one we call upon, and that in His Name we have access, then a restoration of His Name, in our hearts, on our minds, and on our lips is also important. This is His desire, and He will accomplish it as we yield to the work of His Spirit.
Should you have questions, or if you would like to have a Scriptural based, reasonable discussion, I’m open to that.
Thanks for stopping by, and let me know if I can ever do anything for you.
